The aim of this study is to find out how people perceive and evaluate various examples of medieval manuscripts that were selected from the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin. These ancient texts are from a wide variety of cultural backgrounds and traditions. Many of them are of a religious nature, others involve poetry or other forms of literature. Some come with colourful illustrations and ornaments, others only contain text in various formats and languages. We are interested in what general impressions these manuscripts leave on people (regardless of whether they are able to read the actual text or not). Click here to participate.
